Quest Information
- You will encounter quests on Alterworld Online either by accepting quests via NPC's in town, in the world or stumbling into trouble unexpectedly in the world
- Quests will result in obtaining unique Alterworld Online items, found during the quest, given to you once the quest is completed by an NPC (in the form of reward points or item(s) in your backpack)
NPC Quests
- Find a vendor (e.g. Monster Contract Dealer) to accept a quest to complete on behalf of the Alterworld Online community member
- Review the quests request and accept or decline
- Complete the request and return to the NPC to obtain your reward points or unique Alterworld Online item
Monster Contract Dealer - Bounty Hunting
- Bounty Hunting is a skill mastered by completing monster contracts via the Monster Contract Dealer (available in each major city on Alterworld Online)
- The Monster Contract your character is offered by the Monster Dealer and the amount of points you will obtain for completion of a job will be dependant on your Bounty Hunting skill level and/or previous jobs completed
- The more contracts you complete, the more skill points in 'Bounty Hunting' you will gain and the more 'Bounty Points' (Reward points) you will receive
- Bounty points collected can be used to purchase rare items, clothing, mounts and bonus's available for purchase from the Monster Contract Dealer
Escape Quests
- Exploring the world of Alterworld Online may land you in a difficult situation (be careful who you encounter as you explore the world)
- You will need to find your way out of the unexpected quest in order to escape
- Depending on the situation, you will need to solve the puzzle to escape!
- Rewards and rare items may be also found!
Autolycus The Masterful
- Autolycus is an AI thief on Alterworld Online
- Autolycus will recall to players he believes are 'AFK' (away from keyboard), steal an item or resource they have in their backpack and return it to his home
- When the Autolycus recalls to your location to steal your item, if you're indeed infront of your computer, you will have a chance to evade him and make sure he fails in his attempt
- He will steal from the same player only once per 12 hours
- Players will have an opportunity (at your own risk) to retrieve stolen items (and other players items) during certain times of the day, while the Autolycus is sleeping in his home or out visiting his next AFK player
- Should you be caught by the Autolycus, you run the risk of losing items you have on your persons at the time of retrieval, adding them to his collection that includes his originally stolen item
- To steal from the thief, you must be a smarter thief!
Item Retrieval (Alterworld Online Player Quest)
- To retrieve your item(s) from Autolycus the Masterful, you must locate his home, determine his patterns (when he is sleeping or out visiting other players) and find a way to steal the items from his bedroom
- Should you be caught by the Autolycus, you run the risk of losing items you have on your persons at the time of retrieval, adding them to his collection that includes his originally stolen item
- You could find your stolen item and other player items stolen for you to claim if you manage to find a way to his bedroom
- To retrieve the item, you will need to move in the dark, pick locks and silently steal them
- Good luck! To trick the masterful, you must first learn to be a master!
