This Fishing page is intended as an information portal for players looking to understand how harvesting relating to the Fishing skill works on Alterworld Online

Overview

• Fishing can be used in three regions of the map (1. Shoreline, 2. Deep Sea 3. Lava)
• Fishing in each of the regions will yield different items that players can collect (both standard and rare items)
• In order to Fish in Lava, a special Lava Hook will be required
• In order to increase your chances of finding rare items, you can obtain different type of hooks to attach to your Fishing Pole
• Fishing Rare Items may result in you catching a monster. In order to obtain the rare item, you will need to kill the rare monster and the item will be on it's corpse

Use Harvesting skills is used to obtain resources which can be used in various crafting skills inluding; Blacksmithy, Alchemy, Inscription, Tinkering, Carpentry, Cooking, Fletching, Construction Skills and Housing recipes

• Harvesting skills will not receive the skill gain boost in Cove (New Player Town)
• Whenever a player Recalls, Travels via Moongate, Hikes, Teleported or used an Adventurer's Rope they will have a 60 second delay before they can attempt to Harvest again
