Events

This Events guide is intended as an information portal for players looking to understand the Alterworld Online daily events.

Event Gates

• Event gates will open outside major city banks

City Rebellion

Summary

• A team based PvP event, where players work in teams to capture and control points across the major Alterworld cities
• A City Rebellion gate will appear outside all major city banks 30 minutes before the event commencement time
• The City Rebellion gate will take you to the assembly hall
• Prior to the event commencement, you will be automatically assigned to teams based on race, guild or participants available in the event (teams will be split as evenly as possible)
• If you're afk during the event in excess of 10 minutes, you will be kicked from the event automatically

How to enter the event

• To enter the City Rebellion, enter the City Rebellion gate located outside the major city banks to the assembly hall
• Remain in the assembly hall until the commencement of the event
• Double click the City Rebellion stone to see information on the event scheduled

What happens when the event begins

• Once the event begins, two teams will be created by taking all players currently present in the Assembly Hall and assigning them to teams based on race, guild or participants available
• An event stone will appear with options for each team to select locations / areas in the major city assigned to the event (e.g. Britain)
• Communicate with your team and select a zone to appear together (it is recommended you all join the Alterworld Online team discord together to coordinate your decision)

Scoring System

• There are 5 individual control zones in each city
• Every 30 seconds an event check will occur at each control zone to determine the scoring
• If a team is in control of a zone and no enemy team members are on the zone, the team will earn 10 points
• If both teams are on the control zone at the same time and it is contested, each team will earn 5 points
• When a player is killed, the player who dealt the most damage will receive the kill count displayed at the end of the event
• Should a team member die in the event, the opposing team will take 5% of the teams overall points

PvP Points & Rewards

• Players will receive PvP points if your team wins the event or you rank in the top 5 in the kill rankings
• PvP points will be able to used to purchase rare items, bonus's and mounts in the PvP reward store

Weekly 1v1 Tournament

• Weekly server wide 1v1 tournaments will be hosted in the Fighting Pits
• Tournaments will be hosted in both the custom Alterworld Online Sphere 51a style pvp system and 55i style pvp system
• PvP points will be provided to the top 3 players of the event
• Tournament Winners will be displayed in the Fighting Pits

Weekly 2v2 Tournament

• Weekly server wide 2v2 tournaments will be hosted in the Fighting Pits
• Tournaments will be hosted in both the custom Alterworld Online Sphere 51a style pvp system and 55i style pvp system
• PvP points will be provided to the top 3 players of the event
• Tournament Winners will be displayed in the Fighting Pits

Seasonal Events

• Seasonal RP, PVM and PvP events will be hosted throughout the year on major holidays around the world. For example; Halloween, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Anniversaries and more (stay tuned on the wiki for more information)
